This is the official list of horses at XU. You can use these horses as long as you abide by their 'riding rules'
Most horses were donated by XU graduates such as Daniel Delauney, Alexander Folta, Fritz Gruenewald, Mia Leanne Hart, and Laurie Fox, who continue to donate and visit the college often. Try to snag them whenever they visit, if you catch them first, they are usually willing to give lessons and tips, and work with difficult horses. They all have priceless wisdom to offer.
Some of these horses can be bought and leased from the college, look in their description to see.
Availability name colors: available to varisty only available to jv and varsity not currently available for students
If you would like to add a school horse to the list, fill out this form and pm it to Frostbitten (who has the right to make slight modifications as she sees fit).

Capitol Offense: (Sammy) Capitol Offense was bought five years ago and trained by the school trainer Sebastian Jaegger and a handful of varsity jumping students. He is 8 now, best at level 3, and is often used by students in dressage and jumping events. He is a 16.2 hand gray gelding that is allowed to be ridden by students mondays, tuesdays, thursdays, fridays, and saturdays. 'Sammy' is allowed to travel to shows, but is not allowed on the trails without Sebastians written consent. Sammy is currently valued at 20,000, but is not available for sale or for lease. This belgian warmblood is very willing to jump, loves it really. he doesnt have any problems with taking the jump too early or too high, and has smooth gaits. He needs encouragement to get moving though, and you need to keep him going because he will stop if he feels like it.

Captain Krunch(Captain) Captian Krunch was donated by Alexander Folta, who was starting to do shows more advanced than the aging horse could handle. He is a 17 year old Holsteiner gelding who has been dotted upon by students for the two years he has been here. Back in the day, this 16.3 hand gray gelding was worth $37,000 and competed internationally in hunter at Level 6. Now he is allowed to be ridden all days but tuesday and friday, and is restricted to dressage and very light jumping workouts. He is not allowed on the trails under any condition, and does not participate in shows anymore. Talk to Sebastian if you would like to lease Captain for the semester. Captain is gentle and easy going, and is good for beginners as well as advanced. He has a sensitive mouth so be light on the bit. He does test his rider though and is very spooky on the trails

Where Lovers Meet In Moonlight (Moon) Moon is a chestnut hanovorian stallion who is reserved for varsity riders. He is 17 hands of power that can be used for you or against you. He is one of the best trained in the barn, but needs an advanced rider to reach his full potential. He tests his riders, and you need to prove that you are the 'leader'. He is 11 years old with smooth gaits, and is allowed to compete at level 6 shows. He has it all, dressage, jumper/hunter, and cross country training. He is the popular choice to take to shows, so you need to be speedy to sign up to have him. Moon was donated by Mia Leanne hart, and is valued at 30,000, and is not for sale or for lease. You can ride him every day but sunday and friday.

Constantine Constantine is a black oldenberg gelding that is 17 hands and 14 years old. He is excellent for cross country, with long powerful strides. He is a level 4 jumper, and donated by Fritz Grunewald. This is his first semester here. He has a very calm personality, and is good at keeping the tempo that you ask for. He is a Left Brain Extrovert. His tolerance only goes so far though, sometimes he will burst out. He is a time bomb ticking down, and not good for beginner riders. He is not available for sale or lease, and can only be ridden by varisty riders on tuesdays and thursdays until further notice.

Titilayo A wonderful gray 6 year old Hanoverian stallion. 16.2 hands, and level 4 dressage and level 5 jumping. Needs quiet riders, he is easy to handle but he is a seat horse, not a leg horse. He does not work well with other horses in the arena. He was bought recently for $100,000. He is a big investment for Xanthis, they wont be letting just anyone ride him yet.
